Death Toll From 'Terror Attacks' in Sri Lanka Rises Past 200 The six nearly-simultaneous blasts rocked three churches and three luxury hotels in and just outside of the Sri Lankan capital. Two more explosions followed nearly two hours later. According to police, 13 suspects have been arrested in connection with the explosions. Of the more than 200 dead, 11 were foreigners, including at least two U.S. citizens. The blasts injured more than 450 people. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo condemned the terror attacks. Mike Pompeo, Sec. of State, via Fox News President Trump and former President Obama both tweeted after the attacks. Though the attacks are suspected to have carried out by "religious extremists," no group has yet claimed responsibility.
